Freeze Inventory

Perform the following steps to freeze the inventory:

Navigate to Settings à Inventory.

Click Freeze Inventory to freeze the quantity of the items displayed in the grid.

An alert message appears displaying the freezing of the Quantity On Hand items in the grid.

Click YES to freeze the inventoried items.

Click Release Inventory to release the inventory items.

It is recommended to conduct a physical count of the outlet’s inventory prior to opening for business the next day. These physical counts can be made manually or with the scanner.
